Four Player Rule

The following rule change has been adopted for this season (Rule 35v):

"If any team commences with one or more players short, and cannot provide a replacement(s) by the time the fourth game has started, a four player rule will be put in place as follows, one of the four players present will be drawn at random and will not receive the break unless both teams have four players in which case the away team player will receive the break, leg points will be awarded as normal but the score of the 4 player rule member will not count towards player stats. Each captain must record which game is part of a 4 player rule so that the results secretary is able to record the correct information. The 4 player rule can only be used once per match, if additional players are unavailable then a walkover will be called and recorded on the scorecard as normal."
